Statement by Afghan Women in Germany and the European Diaspora in Support of the National Resistance Front and the Establishment of a Responsible Government with the Free Participation of Women

Throughout history, Afghan women have played a prominent role in the struggle for freedom and justice, and have borne the brunt of the responsibilities and sufferings of war and protracted conflict. ‌

In the continuation of this historic struggle, Afghan women have made significant achievements in the past two decades with their active presence in the fields of politics, culture, sports, trade, health, education, art and other sectors. Now that the Taliban are on the verge of forming a male-dominated and discriminatory government, Afghan women, while losing past gains, are set to be completely removed from the political and social arena and confronted with overt discrimination and Misogyny, which has never been acceptable to women and the will continue their strong protests until justice is achieved and a democratic system in which women have a worthy place is established.

While the Taliban have taken a firm stand against the exclusion of women from the political arena, women have spoken out against it on the streets of Kabul and other provinces, calling for the preservation of past achievements and their participation in the future system.

Simultaneously with announcing the Taliban's position on the absence of women in the restrictive structure of the Islamic Emirate, the National Resistance Front, as a political current opposed to the Taliban and the Islamic Emirate, has called for an inclusive political structure in which women have a human status. .

Understanding these two narratives of the future of the Afghan political system, the women of the country have declared their firm support for the position of the National Resistance Front against women, participating in this legal struggle to achieve a comprehensive and legitimate political structure based on popular vote.

We, the women of Afghanistan, stand together in support of the reasonable and worthy position of the National Resistance Front until our legitimate aspirations are realized, and in this regard we call on the international community to support the rights of women, religious minorities, children and all Afghans.

We call on European parliament, international organizations and the international community to support women and men in the struggle of Afghan women to protect the values ​​and achievements of twenty years in various political and legal fields by NOT recognizing the Islamic Emirate.
