The Township of Huron-Kinloss is one of five sites being considered as a location for the Deep Geological Repository (DGR).  The DGR is a planned buried storage site for high level nuclear waste.  Half of the waste to be buried is from Bruce Power and the remaining half is from across Canada.  

We are concerned about a wide variety of issues - increased traffic/noise/dust, affect on property values, safety of the Great Lakes, etc.
