Mankind I feel already has enough luxury places to occupy!!! Why must mankind, continue to take homes away from God's creatures?!?!? Honestly, we all have become, and are continuing to become blind to the ways of evil, and we'll be the death to this beautiful planet Our Heavenly Father created for us to strive, survive, and multiply in. While all the while, we are having to be cautious of the evil ways of the serpent, and choose our beliefs and life path oh so carefully. Pay attention to that which goes on around you, and get your faces out of your mind controlling devices before that moment where, "He comes like a thief at night, without warning!" surprises you and even the ones you love and hold dear to your heart and soul. For when He does finally come there will be no where to run or to hide. Therefore since we have no control over what the end will bring we must learn to fear only one thing, only one being and that is Our Heavenly Holy Spirit Father who's already written our entire historical story along with blessed profits.

This hits close to home for me, as my neighborhood off of Ridge Rd. in Raleigh is dealing with something similar.

I have visited this neighborhood many times over the last 20 years and find it one of the loveliest. Living in a community that was once full of farms, old growth trees and green space and watching it be destroyed for the building of housing saddens me tremendously. I have very much enjoyed walking through this neighborhood and its green space. There are areas very close to Forest Hills that are ripe for urban renewal and would be better suited for redevelopment. Better to improve what has already been developed than to destroy this beautiful area. Remember once gone, you will never get it back. Please do not rezone Forest Hills and destroy its historic value and the beautiful community that everyone in Durham and all who visit may enjoy.

Until a case is made for rezoning, the current zoning, which accommodates another twenty (20) single family, detached residences, is the appropriate designation for this part of the neighborhood. The case for bumping the development up to fifty seven (57) units, which requires rezoning, has not been made at this stage, in any way, shape or form.

I live in this neighborhood, and I would hate to see this beautiful, historic property tarnished.

I’m signing because I live in forest hills and appreciate how quiet the neighborhood is. If a bunch of houses are built it will make the neighborhood more crowded.
