Bayside Council have mailed a DA-2018/120 for 7-9 Kingsland Rd Bexley, NSW 2207.
this area of Bexley is a unique suburb with beautiful trees and low density dwellings, there are only 3 x 3 storey high unit blocks which blend in with the surroundings.
This DA is for a 6 Storey mixed use complex comprising of 20 units, 2 commercial units and 2 level basement parking. No information has been provided on types of commercial units.
This proposal is totally out of character for the area, the proposal will put pressure on existing infastructure, roads and buses along with parking. There is currently very limited street parking available. This development potentially sets presidence for further mass development in this beautiful garden suburb.
I am asking for support in objecting to this DA, the deadline is 13th June 2018.
