Recently the Coudersport Marching band season, as well as the cheerleading season, has been cancelled. They say it is because they don’t believe anyone who is not running the game should be able to attend. But it really make no sense, the marching band and cheerleaders would be able to socially distance, while that is completely impossible for the football team. It makes no sense why they should be able to go along with their season and we cannot. The football players would be at the highest risk for catching Covid-19 because of all the heavy breathing, tackling, and sweating that is going to be on the field, so i do not understand why an exception can be made for them to continue. It is not fair, either everyone gets cancelled, or no one does, stop making exceptions for your precious football team.
