We applaud Costco’s leadership as one of the nation’s largest sellers of organic foods but the packaging they use is too dependent on plastic. With China no longer taking our recycling, and the world’s oceans, and sea life, filling with plastic garbage, it’s time that we get serious about cutting it out of our lives. 

We ask Costco’s leadership to immediately put into action a plan to reduce the company’s single-use plastic packaging of produce by half, and stop using it completely by 2022.
