Jacqueline Williams started this petition to Costco CEO W. Craig Jelinek

A dear friend of mine works for Costco’s Corporate office based in Seattle, Washington. Seattle is at the epicenter of Covid 19 pandemic in the United States. Over the weekend a Costco call center employee died from the corona virus. Corporate employees have the capability to work from home and aren’t being allowed to. This is a travesty and going against everything this country is trying to do to “flatten the curve” of the virus. Not only is Costco putting employees in harms way unnecessarily, but they are also adding to the load of doctors and nurses on the front lines.

In addition, shorten work warehouse hours and protect all of your employees. They are just as valuable as the customers you are trying to serve. Your employees are on the front lines everyday sacrificing to get the products we need on the shelves.

Customers- don’t go to the store unless absolutely necessary. We all need to work together and make sacrifices for the greater good during this challenging time. Have compassion and be kind. Please sign my petition.

Costco, stop sacrificing your employees.
