After revelations that newly elected NJ state senator Edward Durr has made xenophobic anti-muslim remarks online, New Jersians are calling on the removal of Edward Durr from public office.
On September 2nd 2019, Edward Durr created a tweet with the following statement:
"Mohammad was a pedophile! Islam is a false religion! Only fools follow Muslim teachings! It is a cult of hate!"
His offensive remarks and beliefs promote hate and divisiveness at a time when New Jersey citizens should be working together to build relationships with our neighbors. Edward Durr's beliefs do not reflect New Jersian values.
