The news broke on 4 January 2021 about the waiver of the foreign language fee, the amount of which is HUF 280,000 at our specialization. However, the waiver applies only to MSc specializations starting in 2021, whereas it does not apply to students who started their studies in the previous term or earlier.  I would find it only fair if all students of Corvinus University could pursue their studies under equal conditions.   I find it unjust that some of the students do not have to pay the foreign language fee while others do, all the while they all study at the University at the same time.  This is not a tuition fee where it is clearly defined who pays and who is exempt from paying. This is an expense item that the University uses to discriminate against some of the students.

We demand that the management of Budapest Corvinus University cancel the foreign language fee for all actively enrolled students to create equal opportunities for all of us.

Egyformán járjon az idegennyelvi-díj mentesség a Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem minden polgárának. 

2021. január 4-i hír, hogy eltörlik az idegennyelvi hozzájárulási díjat, ami félévente 280 000 Ft a mi szakunkon. De a törlés csak a 2021-ben induló Msc szakokra érvényes, ránk, akik az előző félévben (vagy korábbi évben) kezdték, azokra nem! Szerintünk az a korrekt, ha egyforma feltételekkel tanulhatnak a Corvinus Egyetem polgárai. Nem tartjuk igazságosnak, hogy valakitől kérnek idegennyelvi hozzájárulási díjat és valakitől nem, miközben egyszerre tanulunk az Egyetemen. Ez nem tandíj, ami világosan meghatározott, ki miért fizeti és ki miért élvez mentességet. Ez egy költségtétel, amivel diszkriminálja az Egyetem a tanulóit.

Kérjük a Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem vezetőségét, hogy az egyenlő bánásmód nevében törölje ezt a díjtételt minden aktívan tanuló Corvinusosnak.
