If you’ve ever driven down Hills Lake Road, then you know just how much damage it can cause your vehicle. There are several people who own homes or businesses down this road, yet nothing has ever been done to properly fix it. I’m fact, the CITY OF CARTHAGE has an office smack dab in the middle of Hills Lake Road (aka CR 401). There have been several instances where big truck drivers have nearly ran me off the road because there is no right or left lane that is drivable. There is only a center spot that has fewer hot poles, and is more or less drivable. 
Our road is beyond unsafe for me and my children to drive down, much less for anyone in a big truck pulling trailers or equipment. Many people have reached out to the city but nothing has ever been down to fix it. I’m sick and tired of not being heard. I’m sick and tired of having to PAY to have my tires realigned. I’m sick and tired of complaining about Hills Lake Road.
