On March 31, 2018, the Merriam-Webster definition of “Assault Rifle” was changed to include nearly all modern sporting rifles  available to civilians:

Assault Rifle: “any of various intermediate-range, magazine-fed military rifles (such as the AK-47) that can be set for automatic or semiautomatic fire; also : a rifle that resembles a military assault rifle but is designed to allow only semiautomatic fire”

Further, “Assault Weapon” blankets nearly all firearms commonly used legally by civilians today.

Assault Weapon: “any of various automatic or semiautomatic firearms; especially : assault rifle”

With the constant confusion caused by those supporting gun reforms, and/or repealing of the Second Amendment of the Constitution across the United States regarding firearms incorrectly in a disproportionate amount of sources and discussions. This only serves to highlight their agenda and create further confusion to voters nationwide.

The goal is to demand that we separate all of these words back to their originally intended state.  With “Assault” being reverted back to a solitary verb, and “rifle” and “weapon” to stand on their own without an additional obvious fear mongering verb to push an agenda down the throats of their voters and the people of the United States.  This is not Freedom, this is manipulation and indoctrination of the ignorant.  Please sign, and share to all who believe in Liberty!
