I'd say every Newfoundlander knows someone in Fort McMurray, or even in Alberta in general.  The people who have had to evacuate their homes mostly left with what they had on their backs.  These people may be displaced for days, weeks, or even months.  Some may choose to come home to good ol' Newfie to ground themselves, clear their heads, or just to be with family while they wait to see whats going to happen in the affected areas with homes and jobs.  We need to help them.  Most of us here in NL cannot physically do anything to help because of the distance.  Let's talk to Marine Atlantic and see if we can help the ones who choose to come home.  Travel costs can be outrageous under normal circumstances.  Let's try to alleviate some of their hardship.  Thank you.
