While I think all of Cornell can appreciate The Cornell Chimes' music, it becomes distracting when they continuously play songs while students try to study for finals at night. It is especially loud and troubling to students in Olin and Uris and can be heard from Collegetown and West campus as well.
Solution
For the last weeks of the semester, from around 8 pm and on, The Chimes should stop playing music as this is a prime study time for Cornell students.
