This is a horrible idea with no input from the community that is being put in danger.

It's magical thinking to believe students will not act like the young people they are. Cornell is putting the community at grave risk. Rethink, Pres. Pollack, and do the right thing.

Cornell has NEVER given back to the city it lives in the way it should. Now more than ever Cornell needs to treat the inhabitants of Ithaca as more than a throwaway statistic. #taxcornell

As a resident of Tompkins County, everyone I've talked to is fearful of Cornell's proposed opening. IC has been MUCH MORE RESPONSIBLE. Wake up Cornell---you're out of you depth.....

I care about about our community and as a CU graduate I think Cornell needs to care too!

I value our lives in Ithaca and the area, and I don't believe the science Cornell is presenting as their rationale and reasoning for reopening in the way that they plan. John Claus, Cornell Ph.D., 1986, and Emeritus Professor, Ithaca College

It’s hard to see how this can go well. I’m already seeing packs of unmasked young people in town. And who suffers? This hyper responsible community which has worked so hard to keep this disease from spreading.
