Throughout West Cork you can take your glass/tin, and recycle for free! However if you live in Skibbereen not only can this only be done in office hours but you will have to pay €4. Not only that the civic amenity centre is registered with WEEireland which indicates you can drop anything with a plug or battery here for free.
However if you work 9-5 you cannot use the facility as it is closed for Lunch and at weekends..
This is pure discrimination between communities in West Cork. Please sign so we can make Cork County Council scrap the charge.for recycling.
