Over the last few months, I have conducted online surveys in relation to transport accessibility in several parts of Cork City and County. One such survey was conducted on transport services in Clogheen-Kerry Pike Area. All who answered the survey believed that the current level of transport services was inadequate for a strongly populated city suburb.

We are hoping that either through community action, such a project governed by local people on a voluntary basis, that is supported by cheap government finance/grant funding (e.g EU Social Fund, EU Regional Development Fund, SICAP, CSP, etc), or through the addition of a service by a state enterprise, will be supported and assisted by the National Transport Authority and Cork City Council. The purpose of this petition is to bring this to the attention of the aforementioned bodies in order to advance the project.
