We, the members of the Coppell community and parents of students that attend Coppell Independent School District, believe in Freedom of Choice when it comes to a decision for children to wear masks in school.  We understand this is a heated debate and do not wish to force anyone to comply in either direction. If a parent, teacher, or student believes they need to wear a mask to protect themselves from Covid-19 then they are entitled to do so, and that is their choice.

Masks should not be mandated, freedom to choose is the only option that should be discussed among the school board, teachers, parents and students.  Masks must be optional!
