In recent years, there has been encouraging momentum on a range of actions towards addressing HIV and mobility issues in Australia. While other key documents outline approaches to addressing HIV more broadly, there is a need for strategies that specifically address priority populations, particularly migrants and travellers. This document is integral to ensuring that HIV and Mobility is at the forefront of the health agenda, and provides an impetus for action in identified priority areas.

The Community of Practice for Action on HIV and Mobility (CoPAHM) is seeking your support in achieving this, and would like to invite you to sign on to the document by providing your full name.

The report is envisioned to be a tool in continued discussion and action in the area of HIV and mobility. It is essential that there is a commitment from Commonwealth and state and territory governments, community-led organisations, clinical services, research groups, and affected communities to work together to provide informed leadership, policy and coordinated support. Momentum is required from all relevant stakeholders to ensure that there is appropriate support for the implementation of these actions, including Commonwealth and jurisdictional government buy-in.
