Manuel Porties Jr an 18 year old Schaumburg teen was stabbed and murdered Tuesday evening around 6pm. There are several witnesses that were at the scene of the crime when it happened, along with a video of exactly what happened that has been circling the media. The Cook County’s states attorney is saying “evidence is insufficient” and that it does not meet there burden to file murder charges. Instead they are claiming it’s “self defense”, and “mutual combat”. The two teens had met up for a one on one fight in the video that was recorded and is currently circling the media Porties is punched in the face and falls to the ground, it then shows the 17 year old minor who stood over Manny’s lifeless body and stabbed him again “finishing him off” as Manny’s father stated in press conference, How can the states attorney claim its “mutual combat “ when Porties did not have any weapons all he had was his hands, Guillermo knew exactly what he was doing when he stood over Porties body on the ground and stabbed him in the neck to “finish him off”. The charge that was filled against the 17 year old minor Guillermo was “unlawful use of weapon” when the charge should really be murder, there were multiple stab wounds in his heart and neck . How do you stab someone multiple times especially in the neck and heart and not get charged with murder ?
