Ann gray started this petition to CONWY COUNTY COUNCIL. CONWY POLICE. (HEALTH AND SAFETY.) and

Promenade. ""take a leisurely public walk,"   This has become an impossible task due to the amount of cyclist's  travelling at great speed on the sea front promenade. Below are a List of why's and what could be done.

1.Cyclists Dont use the designated cycle path.

2. Many Cyclists Attitude  is get out of My  way I am coming through.

3. Speed many  cyclists are travelling well in excess of 10 /20 mile an hour.

4. Cyclists wearing Headphones so are  not engaged with surroundings.

5.Cyclists Meander all over the promenade in and out of pedestrians.

6.Large Battery powered bikes are extreamly heavy , large, fast. Dangerous ( These cycles should only  be only allowed on roads)

7.Many of the cycles do not even have a bell.

PUT UP  LARGE VISABLE SPEED SIGNS.  MAKE CYCLISTS  AWARE THAT THEY "" HAVE !!!! """ TO USE CYCLE LANES.  DRAW A SINGLE WHITE LINE YO SHOW WHERE CYCLISTS  CAN CYCLE SAFELY ON SHARED AREAS.

ENFORCE PENALTIES  FOR  CYCLISTS   WHO DO NOT CYCLE RESPONSIBLY, SPEEDING AND NOT STICKING TO CYCLE LANES AND PATHS.

ENSURE ALL CYCLES HAVE TO HAVE A BELL.

Many vunerable, young, old dissabled  people  love our promenade   for some its there only pleasure or chance  to see anybody.

Its being ruined and blighted  sadly by those cyclists who have little or no respect fir other users. Enforce speed limits, cycle lanes  and  in mixed areas put a white line to show pedestrians and cyclists  where its SAFE to cycle and walk. Then we can all enjoy our beautiful sea front SAFELY.

BEFORE SOMEONE  IS BADLY INJURED OR KILLED.
