Starting from October 10th, online studies at the University of Latvia will stop and students who are not vaccinated will not be allowed to attend face-to-face classes, meaning will have to terminate their ongoing semester studies. 

This is especially devastating for students, who can't get vaccinated due to health reasons and have only the last year of studies left to graduate.

We are asking prof. Gundars Bērziņš, prof. Inna Romānova, and prof. Margarita Dunska to make it possible for those of us, who can't get vaccinated to continue their studies online. This way we are also minimizing the number of students present at the university facilities which decreases the risk of the disease spread and making it possible for us to continue our education.
