I have recently discovered a consultation for the proposed 24 flats and a nursery school on the disused land on the High Street in Wanstead.  The consultation period ends on 15th August and my concerns are that not many people are in the knowledge of this nor have many residents have received any information on this consultation like it says on their website.

I feel this would cause great impact on the High Street and the surrounding areas

The increased pollution levels would impact the area.  In 2017 the pollution level were double than they should be in the high street.

The congestion on an already busy high street - would cause significant road traffic especially if a nursery will be placed there which would cause congestion when dropping off children to and from nursery.

This building will ruin the village feel of the high street and it would be lost with a tall building and will block out the natural light and the look of the Greenery.

The Christchurch Green would be overlooked by flats so would ruin the privacy of the park feel.

There are health and safety concerns for children walking to school or nursery with extra traffic not to mention health concerns for the community.

I am raising this petition to bring awareness to the community - if you feel you agree with the said above please show your support by signing this petition which would help to get this recognised with the local authority.

Wanstead is a conservation area and as a community of residents we should have our voices heard.
