Keep the Ray Lewis' Statue at M & T Bank Stadium

People have overreacted to Ray Lewis' decision to kneel at the Ravens versus Jaguars game played Sunday, September 24th in London. For over 10 years, I served in a non-pay basis as Volunteer Coordinator for the Ray Lewis Foundation. Ray Lewis gave much of his time and money to sponsoring activities for the disadvantaged youth of Baltimore City: backpacks & supplies at back-to-school time, Rays' Summer Days (paint ball tournaments, celebrity bowling, etc.), the Thanksgiving turkey and full dinner giveaway and annual Christmas parties for the inner-city poor with dinner and presents. My favorite moment as a volunteer was witnessing young children's awe at being on the field with Ray and other Ravens' players while they interacted in physical activities. Removing Lewis' statue would be a travesty to Baltimore City and Baltimore Ravens' history. Ray Lewis is a good and decent man. Luke 6:37 ""Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." Let hatred go. Love one another. God bless.
