Having a lack of sports funding in the inner-city is a major problem in inner-city schools. Sports allow an outlet for students to hone in on their character skills and to be able to work with their peers. However, in inner-city schools, there is a lack of sports funding for schools to provide the necessary necessities to create an adequate sports programs.
