I simply feel that it's inappropriate to detract from the memory of the deceased.

It is painful enough to lose someone you love......you should be allowed to mourn and bury your dead in peace!!!!

Protesting is important but there are limits. Protesting at funerals is an affront to the lives lost and the families there to mourn.

If Arizona has passed this law to bar entry to hate groups, so can Connecticut. These people should not have funeral ruined by the radicals.

Our law isn't strict enough these low life pieces of shit continue to break the law. Picketing for no reason. The Westboro Baptist Church should loose their church status.

It needs to be banned that any discriminatory or hateful activity should be banned around funerals

Funerals are not the place to exercise our freedom of speech. Rights sometimes need limits when they are abused. Those grieving should be allowed to do so in peace.

there needs to be a code of conduct in all places. A funeral, wedding,etc... Its not a political forum. we all enjoy freedom of speech and expression in the U>S> and we are priviledged to have it. Just use some heart in it.

Demonstrations have their place-a funeral is not one of them.
