Allow those suffering from Lyme disease to qualify for medical marijuana in CT

I am a thirty year old mother of two children. For many years I suffered from terrible leg pains, fatigue and an overall unwell feeling. It wasn't until this summer when after 15 years without a physical that I discovered I had Lyme disease. I had been prescribed three different antibiotics in the hopes of curing the disease but unfortunately it was caught too late. Lyme disease is know as the "great imitator" as it mimics other serious illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia and lupus. Some of the symptoms I experience almost daily are extreme fatigue, joint pain, irritability, concentration issues, brain fog and flu like symptoms. I was shocked when I saw that Lyme disease was not a qualifying illness for medical marijuana in CT as many of the symptoms I experience are the same as illnesses that have been approved by the state. I have done a lot of research on how marijuana can improve Lyme symptoms, it has been proven that cannabis is a greater anti inflammatory than asprin, muscle relaxant and pain reliever.  I am hoping that some day soon I along with all other chronic sufferers will have the chance to improve our symptoms and have a greater quality of life. Please take this into consideration as this disease is not taken as serious as it should, many other states have already approved this use and Connecticut needs to considering how Lyme disease got its name, Lyme, CT!
