No War in Syria Without Congressional Approval/Review The Evidence

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!

On Thursday, April 6, the Trump administration launched 60 Cruise Tomahawk missiles from its offshore Mediterranean warships at Syria's al-Sshayrat military airfield near Homs, Syria’s third largest city without congressional approval as the constitution legally provides. The U.S. strikes obliterated substantial portions of Syria's military capacity there.

We believe:

1) No war action should commence without authority as given by the Constitution of the United States of America and congress

2) the Senate Intelligence Committee needs to review the evidence that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was behind a recent chemical attack that killed innocent civilians before voting for any such military action

3) Congresswoman Elise Stefanik needs to listen to those who sign this petition and urge her not to engage in a foreign policy of war and instead to seek peaceful, diplomatic solutions as much and as long as possible when it comes to the civil war in Syria
