Fix the Criminal Justice System - It is BROKEN!

Recently Casey Anthony and her attorneys filed an appeal of her convictions for lying to police. Her attorney Jose Baez admitted throughout the trial that Casey had lied to the police. The State of Florida is now going to have to provide for this appeal as Casey remains indigent while her Attorney is now her Public Relations representative. The world must be looking at us and having a field day. Compared to other legal systems, we are starting to look like a joke. We have jurors who speculated and used information not instructions given by Judge Perry to deliberate on the case. We have jurors who, instead of facing the media on the day they delivered their verdict, went home and hired PR reps to sell their stories. One juror had a "feeling" about George Anthony. Another could not decided what "punishment" was to be given. Clearly, the system is broken.

We have a legal system that allowed te rights of the victim to be trampled upon by an unscrupulous attorney and his team. It has been admitted on national television that information as to public perception against George Anthony was fed to the defense team to use to gauge their representation.
