The rate of income that's earned by the artist compared to the amount the streaming services are making it impossible to earn a living even though it's our music.

The largest pay per stream in one of these services is 00.04 and it takes 250,000 streams to make $1000.

We would like to see a balance in artist pay and streaming services. One dollar per stream would help the music community, recording artists, and millions of dollars back into our society.

The streaming services have made it incredible for a musician to make a living. The cost of recording a record has gone up.

There are so many factors in recording an album of 10 songs.

Each recording studio could charge $50 to $200 per hour

Musicians charge $200 per song. Mixing $150 to $200. Mastering $200 per song. CD duplication $1500 per 1000. Radio campaign $3000 to $11000 per 8 weeks. And as to date, people don't download because you could stream songs all day every day. The streaming companies are charging $19 a month with maybe millions of people signed up so if you do the numbers you will see the millions of dollars that's going out to the streaming company while the recording artist received 00.04 cents per stream. Please help us fix this.
