Rachel rempel started this petition to Congress

Recently, an American-Israeli girl and New Jersey native, Naama Issachar, was set up in Moscow airport while she was passing through on her flight from India to Israel. Russian officials placed 9.5 grams of Marijuana in her luggage, and she was thrown in a Russian jail sentenced for 7.5 years. Naama is being transferred to Siberia. The typical sentence for such a crime in Russia is paying a fine. As Naama had no access to her luggage since she departed from India, and Indian authorities did not find any marijuana in her luggage, this was a setup so that Russia could retrieve an acclaimed international hacker. Russia has a longstanding history of antisemitism and anti-Americanism for which Naama is now paying the price. I am asking for Congress to put sanctions on Russian airlines, so that no Russian plane can land in the US, or something similar to the Johnson-Varnik Amendment put on the Soviet Union in the 1970s, until Russia releases Naama and compensates her for her unlawful imprisonment.
