Holding presidential primaries on the same day, nationwide, will allow the majority to decide which candidate they want to be the nominee rather than be pursued by a small number of states who distort the overall picture of America. People will be more likely to chose a candidate with whom they align; a candidate in whom they trust to do right by the American people.

Our current system forces candidates to drop out and votes for those candidates that may have been cast in early voting go counted with zero impact. Forcing candidates out of the race before they are able to get into the communities with which they are more likely to do well, by holding early primaries in homogenized populations, creates an inaccurate representation of the overall electorate’s beliefs and values.

National primary elections, held on the same day, are in the best interest of the American people. They will represent our nations direction more accurately and bring the country in the direction the people believe to be best. Doing so will bring the people together and promote understanding and a larger sense of common ground.
