The hr347 law prohibits protests of any kind within 500 ft. to be put into place if any member of the senate or any high ranking member is present. This law restricts our right free speech which is the first amendment in the constitution. The law itself doesn't restrict itself to certain protests. Therefore, it could applied to any social or political issue. Without the first amendment, opinions wouldn't be able to make positive impact on the world. Where is the democracy that was established by our founding fathers?
