Petitioning Congress

Make it against the law to kill death row inmates without DNA evidence.

If we kill one innocent person via the death penalty it is completely unacceptable. There can be no "percentage" of error that is allowed. That small percentage is someone's life! We must see to it that every single possibility has been exhausted before someone is "put to death"! We are in a modern era where we have tools unlike any time in the past. We have the ability to be more certain as to who killed someone. DNA should never be overlooked ... and, in fact, every single person on death row in this country should be tested and matched to DNA at their crime. There should be no exception!

If there is no DNA, then we should not put them to death. It's wrong. There could be a mistake. I suggest that none of us would want that mistake to be any of us!
