Facebook's unjustified restrictions must stop!
Facebook's unjustified restrictions must stop!

Facebook is using useless and arbitrary algorithms to put restrictions on accounts. This is a unwarranted violation of Free Speech. They are not using the meaning or context of a comment to make this decision, but using trigger words, regardless of how they are used.
Whole groups are being closed down. Other groups are given a warning label that several members have been given restrictions. Almost no one is unscathed. I cannot post for 7 days on my personal timeline, or post for 60 days in Groups. Why, you ask? Because I referred to a garbage bag as "trash." Facebook, in its ultimate wisdom, has deemed me to be guilty of bullying. A trash bag.
So now, I am blocked from posting on my own business page. Mark Zuckerberg should not be able to decide if I can continue to make a living, or run my business, because he thinks I bullied a trash bag. These restrictions are ludicrous.
Facebook needs to revise, or do away with, using algorithms to restrict accounts. Putting a restriction on anyone who uses one of their trigger words, such as "trash," in any context, violates free speech and interferes with free enterprise. If someone reported a comment, that's one thing. But to take a single word, and restrict anyone who uses it, is beyond reason.
