To all those I can reach, I would appreciate your help. 

  My daughter Tiffanie (Jordan) was killed in a violent car accident on Thanksgiving night 2021. She was the passenger and someone else was driving. As a mother, I have searched for all the answers I can get about how or why this accident happened. My daughter's autopsy shows that she had alcohol in her system the night of the accident. (She was 21). My daughter spent half of Thanksgiving Day with the driver's family, and I believe she was provided the alcohol there. I wondered for weeks if the driver was also drinking, and the family knew it and let her drive thinking maybe she was okay. (The other girl was 19). I have NO IDEA, and I can't make assumptions, but I wanted answers.  The lawyer told me he couldn't get the driver's Toxicology report due to the HIPPA laws protecting that information. The medical examiner couldn't give me that information either. Law enforcement says the same thing.  I am passionate about changing HIPPA laws to make EXCEPTIONS to this rule. I feel like families of crash victims should be able to find out if the drivers are intoxicated or what was in their system - without being protected by HIPPA laws. The driver lost control of her car and crossed the centerline in this case. PLEASE SIGN TO HELP ME CHANGE HIPPA laws so crash victims' families (like me) - can get the answers we need to help us heal.  To help all crash victim's families heal.
