The Passenger Ship Services Act (PSSA) requires all cruise ships to make a stop at a foreign port of call on their cruise itinerary. Canadian PM Trudeau has indicated that he will not allow cruise ships with over 500 passengers to make port stops in Canada.
This is blatantly unfair to the thousands of cruise ship passengers that enjoy the wonders of Alaska. It is unfair to the cruise lines that are undergoing huge losses due to Corona Virus suspensions of service. This is also unfair to business owners and native Americans who rely on tourist income to survive.
Please consider this petition as a means to have our collective voices heard.
