Conduct a study on children missing from education & tell schools to teach about the risks

I would like to start my petition by asking a simple question. How many childhood friends and classmates have you seen going "back home" and not returning to school?
Child migration is a practice that's been going on for many years in the UK and all around the world. It has a great impact on children and youth as they are at risk of FGM, child marriage, forced marriage... these children are children that are missing from education. I've seen many children going to their original countries against their will and never come back. Most kids are sent with the excuse that they are going for "holidays" or “visit family members” but the reality is far from that. Many are children that are taken out of school and that never come back to school. EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO EDUCATION AND NO CHILD SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT OF SCHOOL. We all have the right to finish our studies and be protected.
I am committed to help children and youth at risk and for this I need your help to expose a taboo topic for many as well as get the voice of people that have experienced a similar turn of events heard.
Let’s help the next generations and let’s protect them.
There is very little data on child migration in the UK, yet it affects many. We need laws to protect the children and youth, especially girls (which are the ones more affected by this) and take the right actions to end child migration and help the children to stay at school.
That is the reason I am asking Prime Minister Theresa May, Minister of State for children and families Robert Goodwill and Secretary of State for education Justine Greening to conduct a report on child migration (statistics, risks...) in the UK and get schools, colleges, universities to teach about it.
This a serious matter and I am not backing down till something is done.
Help me by signing this petition.
