Petition to
Concordia Economics Department

Why this petition matters

Started by Olivier Soussana

On December 6th, 2019 the Economics department at Concordia University gave its introduction to microeconomics' students an exam that was perceived to be too hard for its students to complete or even comprehend.

After contacting fellow students all did not understand the long answers and a majority of the multiple choice questions. The questions that were on this exam were of subjects not taught through lyryx and left students in the dark and with no ability to answer these questions.

Many questions were based on experiences in lectures only available to a small number of students - i.e. asking about latin terms that only one out of x professors in the department covered

We the students wish for a revision of the exam and review the course to make sure that this does not happen again.
