Walnut Country/Crossings Traffic and Road Safety Improvements Needed
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
We, the residents and homeowners of Cowell Homeowners' Association (Walnut Country/The Crossings) are currently subjected to increased and unsafe traffic conditions through our development. These include speeding, running of stop signs and drivers who are both inconsiderate and unsafe in their actions. This especially occurs during the morning rush hour.
While we have worked with the City of Concord departments on this issue, very little to date has been done and accomplished.
We respectfully request the following from the City of Concord and The Concord City Council:
- Identify the appropriate City of Concord representatives to work with the CHOA Board of Directors and Committees to works towards solutions and a plan to both reduce traffic and increase road safety within the Crossings neighborhood.
- Focus these efforts on N. Larwin, S. Larwin, and Rising Dawn streets and the entrances off of Ayers and Cowell Roads where much of the issue occurs.
- Identify and expend funding from the city's general fund and/or other grant sources to execute these traffic and road safety improvements by July, 2018.
