United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA) and LAUSD have signed a side letter agreement that describes the terms to re-open Los Angeles schools in the fall. This is yet another example of where parents, the only advocates for a high quality education for students, need to have a voice when it comes to our children. Enclosed in this petition are the changes California Students United, a grassroots parent organization advocating for the rights of all CA students, is demanding on behalf of the most important constituents of public education; our students. This is what it looks like when parents have a voice in public education. This is what's possible and what our children deserve.
