School shootings and the threat to our children and their safety when trying to earn an education has gone way too far. This is a national issue that has failed to be solved. Employing military veterans as safety response officers to ensure the safety of our future generation is a potential solution to ensuring no child looses their life in this country from a senseless act of violence again. Our military veterans have already had the training and proven their capabilities to defend our country so why not our children?
