"A dog is a man's best friend" A phrase we all believed in. Some people are fans of cats, some people are afraid of dogs thinking that they might chase and bite and some people hate dogs for it. We cannot deny that dogs are a special part of the community especially in the smallest unit which is the family. Many of us grew up living with dogs we can play with. Dogs can also be stress relievers for most people. The dog helps in uniting the family somehow and it shows for most cases. The thing is, some people only love dogs when they are high- breed cute dogs. We all go crazy over intangibles but nobody seems to care or even take a second to look at stray dogs wandering along the streets.

This petition aims to protect and help stray dogs regain and live a full life. It also aims to provide a new shelter and loving family for these poor dogs for they have been homeless for years. These dogs have been looking for scraps in every garbage can. Many people tend to hurt them because they think stray dogs are dirty creatures who harness germs which is totally our fault because of our failure to give sufficient attention to these animals and this cause. Yes, taking care of them is not our responsibility, but as an animal/ dog lover, how would you feel if your pets were the ones wandering in every street and looking for scraps in every garbage can.
