Given that the current BPS administration shows no willingness to take immediate action in regards to moving away from the CPM Curriculum and that this integrated curriculum does not lend itself to the direct teaching model we are asking for, we propose the BPS board of education vote on the following:

1. To immediately begin the process of selecting an alternative math curriculum, specifically a teacher lead program for the 2018-2019 school or revert back to the old program (which would cost nothing).

2. To immediately cease any in-process purchase orders for CPM materials.

3. To take immediate and significant action to commit district resources to relieve the negative impact on student learning from the currently flawed curriculum rollout.
