Complaint Regarding The Director of Board of Examination and Evaluation of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University

Respected sir,

I am writing to you to bring to your cognizance the psychological and financial harassment of students due to mismanagement & incompetency of the Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Mr Ganesh Manza. The mismanagement and incompetency of Mr Ganesh Manza can be observed by the following:

1) The result of majority of courses are declared after more than 45 days from last date of examination. Results of some courses are not declared even after 90 days from last date of examination whereas The Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016 Section 17, sub-section 5, clause (j) imposes responsibility on the Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation to declare the results latest within Forty-five days as provided in section 89.

 

2) In spite of taking huge time in declaration of results, the evaluation of papers is of extremely poor quality. The evaluation of majority of papers is done without reading the paper and also there are many errors even in counting which results in fail remark on mark sheet of students and this lead them to their psychological harassment and as they have to pay for requesting photocopy of answer sheet and again pay for sending it to re-evaluation. This leads to their financial harassment. The Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016 Section 17, sub-section 5 imposes responsibility on the Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation to implement process for smooth and proper conduct of evaluation. 

 

I, here by, quote that there were many counting errors and also many extremely careless evaluation without reading what is written inside. You may kindly call for and verify from seat no. 231400339 (CrPC) for counting error and seat no. 231400468 (Company law) for wrong evaluation for the examination April/ May 2022 which was held in July 2022. You get the photo copies of the both and you may show this to any subject expert and understand the pathetic situation of evaluation irregularities of the university 

 

3) It is suspected by many that the reason behind late declaration of results and poor evaluation along with some students getting passed who had negligible chances of passing is that Mr Ganesh Manza is engaged in some irregularity for his gains by making misuse of his powers. I had filled a RTI on 13 October 2022 against Mr Ganesh Manza for disclosing his assets in public interest. He was reluctant to disclose it. This opens a window for suspicion.

When Mr Ganesh Manza is tried to made aware of his roles and responsibilities by students as mentioned in point 1 & 2, he intimidates them in an arrogant manner. This shows failure and incompetency of Mr Ganesh Manza as the Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation.

Therefore it is my kind request to you to take cognizance of this complaint and take appropriate action. As there have been tremendous faults in the evaluation of papers, I request you to allow for re-evaluation of more than two subjects according to choice of aggrieved student. I have submitted application on 10 October 2022, requesting same demand of allowing re-evaluation of more than two subjects to Vice chancellor but no action has been yet taken on it.
