What motivates employees to be more productive? Is that cash? Recognition? Satisfaction with the job? Benefits? Opportunities?

Employees are acknowledged by both professionals and scholars as the most important asset of today's organizations. Money often motivates people. The wage of an employee receives from his employer can greatly affect his administration and to work efficiency. A employee does not just see his wage as a quantity, he considers it as a worker's value that his employer places on him. He feels that the amount of appreciation can directly affect his general performance. According to Zeynep Ton, a professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management, research has shown that an employee satisfied with his pay is more productive and motivated. A ground-breaking research now shows that higher salary programs can increase efficiency from 25 to 44 percent anywhere.

Highly compensated employees are more happier with their job, especially if they really enjoy their work. If the employees are satisfied with their salaries, more or less they can stay in a certain company in a long period of time. Having a great experience can lead them to recruit their friends who might be highly skilled in their their jobs. Through that, it can help a company to have more profit. Another thing is that, a well-compensated employees more likely to stay in their jobs long term. The longer someone stays in a company, the better they understand the systems, norms, and mission and can make them more productive as well as create stronger teams and bonds in their co workers. You'll also spend less time and money looking for new hires and interviewing. The recruitment process can be costly, so avoiding it as much as possible can be a positive thing. When someone does extremely valuable or high-quality work, they deserve to have a high salary and not just an incentive. The thought here is that they should be receiving a fair portion of the value that they are adding to your business or company. Therefore, instead of keeping all the profits to the company, share it to the people who undeniably give so much effort for the company to earn more profit. Through these it will lead to the employees to feel the equality in the company, which is something that most employees consider before entering into their jobs.

Every company should give their employees a salary that they deserve to have as an exchange to their hardwork. Increasing employee salaries can be painful at first for the company, but remember that employees are the most important part of a business. It may mean less profit for your business in awhile. Increasing employee salaries is not just a move to make them happier, but an investment toward a more productive and high-quality business. Through the salaries that they received, they will be able to focus on their work because they know that they will be having a high salary as an exchange in their hard work. Lastly giving your employees high salary can help the them to be more passionate to their works.
