Aloha, 

As a parent of a student that attends Kamehameha and also a resident of the Kulamalu Community; I felt compelled to share the conflict of using the gate/road exit via Aina Lani Drive.

The Kulamalu Community Association has sent email correspondence since October 18th, 2021 displaying  for a lack of words 'not pono mentality' of the usage of this road. In essence, it is truly alarming that people can't take the time to understand that being a part of the upcountry area includes being considerate to the community as a whole.

This gate access alleviates traffic flow in the A'apueo Parkway area that has 3 schools within close proximity. The gate is only open during school hours and on weekdays. It does not harm the community in any way. Cars and trucks pass through this road every single day and night.
