Why this petition matters

Started by Dorcus Melodi

1.Patrollers without being paid on time, Outstanding payments  maximum of 9 months. When we ask we are told that document are sent to head office, clearly someone is not doing his or her job. We need clarity. Patrollers keep on calling  where does the airtime  comes from, submit you SARS confirmation letter where do you get traport money? Patrollers must be presentable, neat, professional and eat,  how is all that possible without getting paid?

2,Statement of address by Mr President   Ciryl  Ramaphosa   level 4 lock down  3rd wave  Patrollers to report on duty  normal hours  what about our safety we put our life's at risk . It seems the statement of our president is undermined  who are the patrollers to be at schools after this stamen by the honorable president.

3. MEC   of the Department of education mme Ange Motshega announced that schools  to be closed 30 June, She made it clear that no one should be in school  by Friday 2/07/2021  But  We should be at schools,This was not the normal closing date.  The school closed a week before . Why because of Covid19 high rate of infection in our region Gauteng. Patrollers should report to schools, Who are we? or maybe  what are we ? We feel we are not taken serious or our life's are not important  we are nobody  that is doing acsess control in schools.

4.Covid 19 Vacations to be given to  all DE employees , supporting staff but patrollers not  mentioned. But still report to school, Who are we again.

5,No payment in June 2021  no reason for that. But we must go and volunteer  for July month in this situation  in this pandemic. Who are we again, that means we enjoy going to wok without payment and volunteer at the same time who are we again?

6.Patrollers must go volunteer July month  normal time.  We need  a document  that state  that.. Even in this Covid 19 LOCK DOWN LEVEL 4 3RD WAVE..This does not sit us well. What about our safety our well-being our health?

7.We addressed by Mme Mapula Thosago that  June month is the end of our contract  everyone irrispctive of when you started fine. It seems there is communication break down and this does not sit us well.

8.We want to see that memo and contracts

9.WE NEED BOTH THE  DEPARTMENT  COMMUNITY SAFETY AND DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.TO COME AND ANSWER.

THEN FROM NOW ON WE ARE NOT GOING TO SCHOOLS  UNTILL  WE OUR ANSWRED  BY BOTH DEPARTMENT
