Overcharging for utility services

The Jackson Madison County Tennessee community is experiencing extremly high utility billing. Some have had an increase of more than $100 from month to month and with no changes in their living conditions. There have been numerous complaints to the BBB and the FTC and there is yet to be any resolution to the continued problem. JEA will not work or try in any way to work with the people whenever there's a problem in paying for services. Utilities are being disconnected because of the high billing and there's a security deposit to get them reconnected, which adds extra money to the already high amount and most residents live on a fixed income. We the Jackson Madison County Tennessee residents of the community would like this matter to be investigated, evaluated and eliminated to stop the over charging and result in fair pricing, cost and effective meter reading for all residents.
