There is an on going alarming rate of covid related illnesses of healthcare workers in the UK, resulting in understaffed and vulnerable people at risk due to reducing numbers of carers, due to calling in sick. Nigerians are some of the largest numbers on the front lines in healthcare in the UK.Nigeria should be on the Green list in all that regards Health and Social care as the training standards of carers there are at par  excellence, with training of health care workers in the UK.This is not the time for apartheid and racist implying policies,as to which countries are eligible to apply for senior health care worker status. The Immigration requirements needs must be overhauled expeditedly.This is the time for the Nigerian High Commissioner in London to make a final push for Nigeria to be on the Immigration green list of the UK.
