It is disgraceful that most universities in Nigeria have turned collecting academic transcripts into sheer torture.
Despite collecting, in most cases, outrageous fees, they frustrate the applicants by not delivering on time, and this leads to missed opportunities - including loss of admission chances. Virtually everyone knows someone who has suffered from this rather irresponsible action.
What is so difficult about generating transcripts that it will take years to deliver on it?
